“After the Hopak” is part of Larisa’s Ukrainian Dance series. Featured is a girl’s costume from the Poltava region of Ukraine. Vinok, blouse and velvet jacket have all been dropped on the dressing room floor. The image is reminiscent of the years Larisa danced and it captures her memories of elaborate costuming and hectic backstage quick changes.
